Not if you have knocked their life total down. I am thinking of making a B/R burn deck with combos like this.

yeah but the problem is when you end up with them having like... 11 life and 4 creatures. with this combo you would have to pay x as 11 to kill the opponent ot x as 5 to leave them with 1 life. also having to activate mindslaver puts a strain on the mana even if you ramp.

give them lots of tokens somehow?

He could use {alchemists refuge} for instant too...but that's a 💩 ton of mana with blue black though he could use architect....And {Sorin Markov} as a back up...just splashing green for the land
