I'd like to hear if anybody got to play a miracle card yet, and how they went about doing it.  I had kind of a bad experience with it during pre-release.  The guy was able to miracle twice in 3 games.  The second time he did it, he untapped, drew, played a land, and then said, "oh!  I just drew this!" and then played it.  A little fishy to me.  Oh well.  Just let me know how you guys went about playing your miracle card.

It has to be done as SOON as you draw after your upkeep.

I understand it as a trigger that ends once the draw phase is finished.  Others say that you can play it during anytime of your turn as long as you keep the card you drew seperate from your other cards in your hand.

*shrugs* IDK

Once he played a land he voids the miracle don't know if he mixed the card in with his hand that voids it too he would have to have shown it to
You as soon as
He drew it for it
To be valid

-I used temporal mastery as a miracle. That's what it is!!! Well, you can cast it in any turn if it was a sorcery in an opponents turn you know you can't used it, the miracle effect is waste. To make the miracle effect work it has to be the first card card in any turn that you draw. If you draw a card in an opponents turn and it's the first one you can use it if is a instant.

Even if it's not instant you can cast it on your opponent turn or it's miracle cost
Since you can cast it right away if it's the first card you drew this turn

Sorceries can't be cast during your upkeep either don't know if u knew that but miracle overrides that

That's right you can cast a sorcery only in the 2 main phase

Yeah I haven't played any miracle cards yet, but I'm sure I wouldn't put in my hand, play a land, and then tell you I drew it.  It kinda pissed me off, because it cost me the game both times.

Why didnt u call the judge

Meh.  I don't know.  I guess I should have.  I guess I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, or make the dude feel like I was calling him lire.  Figured I'd just rant about it later on imtg.  Lol!

Prereleases are tough. Everyone is playing with new cards for the first time. It's supposed to be a big fun thing, but it's still an official event. There's still prizes and rankings on the line.

My friend did the same to me, it didn't save his life, but I let him get away with it. We're all so close at the shop I play at, I know he would have done the same for me. I do tend to be more aware and may not have made the mistake, but of i did, he would have responded in kind. Outside of my shop or at a larger event, I would have called a judge.

I reveal a miracle when I draw the decide if I want to play it. Judge said it made sense to him.
