But what I thought you were trying to do is play frost Titan then equip the boots and attack after that exile the Titan then it comes back into play and then use the sages second ability which would let you draw three cards

That works, the full potential involves that, but instead of using the sages second ability you use the first, next turn you arrack with the Titan, snapcaster the coudshift, or play {restoration angel} or do both and then draw an insane amount of cards using the sages second ability!!
