Well, trial and error is a great way to get to learn all functions of the app.

Hi have just started playing and brought the intro battle for zendikar: zendikar's rage opened the boosters and found two cards that dont seem to be listed they are
elemental
Token creature - elemental
Trample, haste
009/014 T
3/1

Plant
Token creature -plant
010/014 T
1/1

The cards you mention are "token" cards. You can use them when an effect lets you put (usually creature) tokens into play, like {avenger of Zendikar} does with plant tokens.
These are not cards you can put in a deck to play.

On another note: welcome to MTG and the forum. I hope you'll like the game and your stay here :)

Hi again thanks I looked up these cards on the database but couldn't find them, couldn't find any information in the help section or rule book but haven't gone through the longer rule book yet though, as they said it isn't necessary to play the game. It is just here to clarify points.

It is true. You don't need to plow through the whole of the comprehensive rules, of CR as they are affectionately called. I think that's the best way to turn someone away from magic, as the exact mechanics detailed in the CR are mind boggling at times.
In most cases, it's pretty straight-forward what happens. And should you ever come across something you doubt about, we have the rules section to help out.
