If I cast  {Rite of Replication} on a creature, then flash in {Dualcaster Mage}, and copying Rite, and choosing itself as the target for the copy of Rite, can I go infinite? If not, how can I male this go infinite?

Ps. dont know if this should have gone in Rules or Combos. Maybe we need a Crules or Rombos section

Remillo

Yup, that it does.  It's even funnier if the rite is kicked, because then you can also make infinite copies of other things on the board.

1) Cast kicked Rite targeting, say, a {Fanatic of Mogis}
2) Cast Dualcaster, target Rite
3) Copy resolves, makes 5 dual asters
4) All 5 point at rite.
5) 4 kicked copies of Rite at Fanatic, 1 at Dual caster
6) Each copy of Rite resolves one at a time, essentially making infinite Fanatics and infinite Dualcasters, providing exponentially increasing damage to your opponents.

Do note that a kicked rite on Fanatic is pretty harsh on your opponents even without going infinite. If your board is empty except Fanatic, you're looking at 6 devotion, 5 times over = 30 damage at each opponent.

You say that like it is a bad thing ...

Well, yeah.. if you went UB you could use Gary instead ({gray merchant of asphodel}) for 12 devotion & 60 drained..per opponent..

so basically if you go infinite on the dual casters with the Rite kicked you can get infinite of every creature on the battlefield, correct?

Correct. You just hit a Dual Caster with a copy every time you get a new set of Rites.

Nope. You only CAST two spells. The Mage & the Rite. The rest is copying stuff on board or stack. No huge storm count.
