{Wooded Foothills} fetching...? also needs more land as it needs to hit a five drop, never mind the 8 drop, and wants to cast multiple spells a turn on occasion.

Oh balls. Forgot the basics.

I also feel like Nissa, Chandra and Sarkhan are sub optimal. You want repeatable targeting abilities...also, what do you do vs say, {Dragonlord Sulimgar} and other hexproofs?

I also think {Treasure Cruise} should be {Dig Through Time} as you need that combo piece and double {U} anyways.

Also don't really like {Sulimgar's Scorn}...I'd like a {Negate} in that slot. Three dragons simply isn't enough and you only really need counter magic to protect your creatures. Why counter what you can steal?

For Willbreaker you need {Throwing Knife}.
It targets before you have to sac it, so you steal a dude every turn.

I don't think that works. It's a triggered ability on the sacrifice that causes it to target. You also probably don't want to attack with {Willbreaker}.

griffin131

It works.
The trigger has to have a target to go onto the stack. You decide to sacrifice upon resolution of the trigger, but by then the target has already happened.

Also, Knife can be on any creature - it's an ability you control.

No you don't.

"Attacks you may sacrifice it. If you do, it deals two damage to target creature or player"

Right. When the creature attacks, the trigger goes on the stack.
Since there is a target involved, you declare the target before the ability can be on the stack.

When the trigger resolves you may sacrifice the Knife and do damage. But the target is selected way back when the trigger is out on the stack.

lol read the card it doesn't target anything until it is sacrificed lol it doesn't trigger until you sacrifice it

Pretty sure Griffin is right. This is the same reason killing an {Angel of Serenity} after targets are chosen doesn't permanently exile the targeted cards. The whole ability resolves at once, it's just weird how WotC words certain things--it's more like "Whenever you attack with equipped creature, choose target creature. Then, you may sacrifice Throwing Knife. If you do, it deals 2 damage to target creature or player."

EDIT: Didn't see this was resolved in Rules, my bad for the superfluous post.
But you have to sacrifice it before it targets anything. If it was worded as you said above it would be a different story but it's not so it's pretty straight forward that that's a wrong judgement on griffins part and I am sooo confused how anyone could misinterpret that.
