Kaalia staying alive

Im pretty new to magic an Ive been doing commander with friends well I have trouble keeping kaalia on the field how do I keep her going enought to trow in some big guys?

Protect her with {Swiftfoot Boots}, {Lightning Greaves}, and/or {Champion's Helm}.
