I'm not a big standard player, but probably because {hangarback walker}.

MuggyWuggy

Because siege rhino and burn

As a bug player: you're at 10-12 life by the time you get to your 5th land drop if you miss a t3 courser.

I MB feed the clan which has won me several game 1

Currently the removal is great but due to so many tap lands and pain lands, gameplay starts slow or you kill yourself trying to accelerate your board state/control opponents threats.

I also run2-3x thought seizes. So that with pains and fetches really hurts.

Ugh and red has 2 4 dmg spells...

Re: hangarback

It's a pain in the ass, but I added silence the believers to Mb for testing this week. Den protector and raptor have been my favorite additions to the deck.

Den protector just brings back immense value constantly so you can run fewer pieces in order to add variety of removal, rather than needing to side in at game 2

I also run caryatid over satyr - burn/searing blood is just too real of a t2/3 play that makes you sad.

Bug control is still very powerful, you just have to get your board state going.

Whatever you do: don't run less than 3 downfalls
Planes walkers are relevant again since origins

Thanks!   I'm trying to get back into it.  Just wondering what deck to play
