Oh my goodness, WotC! The anticipation is killing me!

Rumor has it it starts tomorrow!

As far as predictions and speculation goes...

They mentioned 'experience counters' in the press release.  My prediction is they're codifying the common practice of using a die to mark how many times you've cast them from the command zone and you get bonuses for each experience counter, a la Prossh/Marath/Jaleva, but counting number of casts instead of mana spent.

Well, the mechanic is already there.  {Opal Palace}...

Calling it now, rule change so when you cast a commander you get an experience counter. They're making a tangible way to see -how many- times you've cast a commander instead of just remembering off hand or having a nice set to the side.

could definitely see that happening.

side note: does the commander "tax" count as an addition to a cards cmc?
will casting him after he has died once cause him to be bigger each time you cast him or is CMC ONLY whats on the card?
Commander tax is a cost increasing effect. CMC is what you see on the card. {isomaru, hound of konda} can not be countered by {disdainful stroke}, even if you cast it for the third time for {4}{W}. Likewise {aluren} will allow you to flash it, even though tax still applies.

Remillo

Not to mention the EXP counter ability will only give you counters if he's on the battlefield.  Also, it's unlikely that the counters will be used to track casts, as you can add counters other ways than casting it (not to mention it doesn't have an ability that states you get one when you cast it)

If the CR were to change, it wouldn't need the rule on the card. However, it is a bad way of tracking, due to proliferate. {contagion engine} seems really nice with this..

Prediction:
UR one is Izzet-related in flavor.
Gets counters for casting Instants/Sorceries
Possible uses for counters: +1/+1, cost reduction for Instants/Sorceries (basically Animar for them, would be hella ridiculous), or damage on upkeep.

Remillo

Orzhov colors are more likely to be Life Gain; Golgari is more likely to be deaths.

RW: Casting creatures with Power 5+
UR: Casting Instants and Sorceries?  Or Burn?
WB: Life Gain?
GB: Creature Deaths?
GU: Actually no idea off the top of my head.

{G}{U} would likely be something with draw effects. Maybe increased hand size for each counter? Every turn you drew X or more cards?

But then the commander tax would increase as well whenever you got an experience counter another way, and nobody would want that. Or it'd be a mess rules wise. Either way I doubt it.

My prediction is Imma buy one of each deck. I already like the XP counters option.

Thoughts...

The new spoiled card, it is based of the "creatures with powet 5 or greater" Naya ability. Looking at the back of a mtg card, if you take green out of Naya.... you're left with Red /White.
Furthermore....   Black/White may be reminiscent of Esper without blue.

Red/Blue may be grixis without black

Green/Blue is bant without white

Green/ Black is Jund without red

Just saying, could happen...
Woah

I thought that was gonna turn into an illuminati theory or something XD

Now that you mention it. It is a little counter-intuitive. RW most often works with loads of small things, boosting for number, rather than size. {Akron hoplite}, {Anax and cymede}, {tadjic, blade of the legion} for reference.

This could mean, the XP counter is for things you don't do too often in your archetype, yet the reward is all the greater.
