Seriously though, the added bonus of the cats seems better if you're gonna sit around 40 anyway.

The mentor combos better with Sage of hours. As you only need to get two more plus one plus one counters each turn.

Totally missed that.
{ajani, mentor of heroes} + {sage of the hours} + {doubling season} or 2 {hardened scales} = infinite turns?

Beaten to death with my 1/1 (hex-proofed and unblockable) in a game of watch your opponent play out 20 turns after each other...

How do I stop day's undoing's END TURN clause?

im going to put in my 2 {Day's Undoing} and some {Sphinx Tutalage}
that was if I have a draw-sphinx out when I cast days undoing, I draw 7 (they mill 14) they draw 7 (I draw 14 more and they mill 28 more)
Cast by using {Vedalken Orrery} and  {Leyline of Anticipation} on their turn

Another great benefit of casting on their turn is you've got more time and mana to cast those goodies before you have to discard. (Disregarding {library of leng}-effects.

you play {timetwister} which is legal in edh.  ;)


why pay $674 for tittytwister when I can have my wife crack packs and get 2 day's undoing for less than $7

He's not good enough, didn't make the first round of cuts in my EDH deck

How is drawing as much as the greatest number discarded & not shuffling yard in not better in mill?
Activate it once, meh. {aphetto alchemist} and {U} say I'll discard everything I just drew and draw again, thrice as much as I did the first time around.

EDIT: with {library of Leng}, you can even discard to the top of your library, recycling your hand, while your opponents can't.
