In my mind, they blur together. If it doesn't offend someone it isn't funny.

There's a difference between making a joke at someone's expense (which I do a lot) and just being mean. Mean x= funny

Not at someones expence nessecarily. Mean is not always funny, but in my mind true funny cannot exist without mean.

I tried growing a mustache at MOS school and while we were in formation, the school's 1STSGT comes up to me and goes, "what the .love. are you doing with that high speed dick duster on your lip?"

You can poke fun at anyone, but when there are like 6 people involved in making fun of you, then it's no longer enjoyable for that person, even if they have a good sense of humor, (which Taysby does.)
