Went 2/2

Game 1 2/1
Game 2 2/1
Game 3 1/2 just bad luck sorta with siding shenanigans

Game 4 I should have won but misplayed

Apparently with quicksilver amulet vs mutagenic growth when they drop elesh norn I have to respond before she becomes the target of quicksilver amulet

What do you mean by that last part?

I'm under the assumption that qq means quit crying. Or something along those lines

So I figured I'd do it with emphasis

BadLuckIrish

I think Jester means the quicksilver part.

And yes QQ is a way to say quit crying.

Sorry what I mean is by the time elsh is the "chosen creature" if I have passed priority to activate anything to the ability of quicksilver itself.

The last two turns were this

1. Him: he plays quicksilver amulet
I choose not to respond with my counter spell

2. I has {corrupted resolve}  and {mutagenic growth} [i cannot recall what I drew maybe lands, something meaningless]

He has 5 poison

I have a {plague stinger} equipped with {livewire lash}

I swing, and as I hold my {corrupted resolve} to pre-empt any thing stopping me, he activates {quicksilver amulet} in response to my attack. I announce I can't counter whatever it is so I pass priority.

Ironically It being {elesh norn grand cenobite} immediately kills {plague stinger} and leaving my {mutagenic growth} wasted

Had I played {mutagenic growth} in response to the activation of {quicksilver amulet} 's ability I would have spun 2 poison direct to him via {livewire lash} ability and the {plague stinger} would have hit for 3 in the air as it would have gone up to 5/3 but {elesh norn} only bringing it right back to 3/1 pushing 5 poison for game.

Namely the reason I held the counterspell vs the amulet was because there was already a elesh in the gy and I was worried about {Unburial rites} however I guess I should worry more about problems at hand instead

sigh.....

I see now.  But you really couldn't have known that he was dropping an Elsh though.  Right?

DirtyMustachio

Nah just kinda sucked

Sadly, I wasn't able to go last night.

Never let quicksilver amulets through! They're just slightly clunkier {Elvish Piper}s, nothing good ever comes from them.
