Morph question!!

if a creature is cast for the morph and gets destroyed does it count as being turned over or does the creature just die?

It dies, however it gets turned over when it hits the GY (so your opponent knows you're not cheating). That's why {Cloudshift}ing a morph flips it. Also, this should be in Rules.

Technically you reveal it upon leaving the battlefield and it goes to grave never flipped, so flip effects won't trigger. It will be face up in the grave( and exile), that's why {cloudshift} works.
