Go for it!  And if you have an extra 600 lying around, feel free to add a {Mishra's Workshop}.  Makes for stupidly explosive starts, but has the downside of not helping you activate stuff.

What about {ring of three wishes}? I was play testing and managed to activate ring, then copied it with kurkesh, and copied that with strionic resonator. I would have copied that too, but I didn't have enough mana lol. Three cards for {7}{R} ain't that bad

It's a completely valid inclusion.  I personally prefer Planar Portal, so I play it, but basically any artifact with an activated ability is fair game.  Just play whatever you want to!
