so im watching this channelfireball video with lsv drafting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLcca0058_IzLcca0058_I
And it seems like he doesn't understand the interaction between {flamerush rider} and {goblin heelcutter}. He seems to think that making a copy of a heelcutter will make two creatures not be able to block. But straight from flamerush's rulings is:

11/24/2014   Although the token is attacking, it was never declared as an attacking creature (for purposes of abilities that trigger whenever a creature attacks, for example).

Sadly his opponent kills his rider before he gets to do it, but I am still very surprised by this.

And this is why pros are over rated. That fool should learn to dress himself before he takes another picture in public.

One thing to keep in mind is how far in the future they record those draft videos. Interactions with a rare that doesn't see standard play is one of those things you learn as you use it or see it used for the first time.

Can't argue with that though lol

The phrase "tapped and attacking" is used with other cards, so..

I also don't know who that is.. So..

Everyone is entitled to a brainfart give LSV a pass on this one.  He is typically on top of his game and I am surprised he made that mistake.

I agree. We all have moments when we completely drop the ball. I have a Saproling deck, and one time I forgot to add any of my spore counters on my creatures for several turns (I even had 3 doubling seasons on the field). Everyone makes mistakes, even pros.

But the point gtfotis makes is what I'm getting at. If this was a brand new mechanic, sure I could see where he would screw it up. But since it's not a new mechanic, I am shocked, LSV never came across this interaction with cards like {preeminent captain}, {hero of bladehold} or any ninjitsu cards. And sure he's entitled to a brain fart but this didn't seem like misremembering.
