i hate drafting, but I love sealed pack format. All my friends go in and in about what they drafted, and I'm just waiting for the next prerelease.

That's part of my dislike of draft. The worst part was guys demanding to know what was in the other packs as they cracked, and then either watching who grabs what, or trying to demand that certain cards be left for them. And since I live in a fairly small town, a lot of the "top" guys at my LGS will shun the other guys in their group if they grab certain cards. It's lame.

It's called bull****. And it sux cause they have a couple guys who could be really good, if they found a new group. It's mainly 2 guys who think they are hot shots cause they went to a regional event and just missed the cut. The LGS tries to control it, but the LGS obviously can only influence what happens during events. They were DQ'd from a sealed event for trading their sealed cards. I joined their play group when I met them (before I knew they were shady). They kicked me out cause I wouldn't take dives to give them better standings. They tried to petition the LGS to ban me, but the owners love seeing me make them look like noobs, and the LGS won't bam anyone willing to spend money. Especially by these guys. They have enough influence to get shops boycotted. They already did it once

Fnm, prerelease, and even Wednesday night Standard. Idk what they do for EDH night, cause I still haven't built or played it

To be honest, those players don't deter me from coming back. I don't draft, but they are only part of the reason. I just make it a point to be as annoying and cocky and victorious against them as possible

I'm working on handling it on the local level. I'd rather not have to call in DCI numbers on anyone unless I have no other options. I'm set to do the DTK prerelease, and I'm bringing a few friends. Our goal is everytime we hear them bending or breaking the rules, we call them on it.
