I need to have my girlfriend open my packs.. Welp, whatever I get from the GP, she opens. I hope that counts.

Munchlax

Wait I saw {shaman of the great hunt} mentioned a few times. Just checking value now

Estel2931

Got my box yesterday and decided (begrudgingly) to let my wife open a few (6) of my packs. I kid you not, she pulls an Ugin, then a Mentor, then a Wooded Foothills, then a Flooded Strand, then a Warden of the First Tree and last but not least a Foil Ugin.

I'm glad she got those pulls for me, but at the same time, I can never seem to get that much luck. I'm hoping with this box of Innistrad I have that I'll be able to get something nice. Maybe I should just let my wife open it...I really want that foil Lily lol...

Estel2931

I've seriously considered it, but it urks me to see someone who really doesn't care about it open up amazing packs. She's opened soooooo many great packs that its starting to bug me lol

Awesome. I've also had this happen:

Wife: "Hey babe, didn't you say you needed a card called...thought...seize or something?
Me: "Yeah, but they're so expensive right now."
Wife: "Oh, well, I ordered them."
Me: !?!?
This would never happen to me.  I have hinted at cards for presents.  My wife would consider this contributing to an addict's habit....

She is prolly right ;)

My gf is the best, she is not a fan of the fact that I play magic (she accepts it, she just thinks I'm a dork and she doesn't get it), but I had mentioned that I would love to have a {jace, the mind sculptor} just as a comment, so she bought me one for Christmas last year. This year she got me dueling decks: anthology. I'm not sure why I haven't married her yet to be honest with you.

Something about puttin a ring on it...

Yeah, been there once already. Trigger shy on this one even though she's a good one. It's coming soon, I figure after 7 years and a little one, I gotta do it soon.

Cender

I tested this today on FRF packs. She bought 4 from target and brought them home and opened them at lunch. {Temporal Tresspass}, {Frontier Siege}, {Crucible of the Spirit Dragon} and {Soulfire Grand Master}. 2 of 4 mythics. Yeah I picked a keeper

It's not 100%, my girls pulled me many junk rares, but she's also pulled me fetches, many shocks, a  {Huntmaster of the Fells},  {Voice of Resurgence}, and others I cannot remember on the spot. The sheet works.

Step One: Get a girlfriend
Step Two: Get her to pick my magic packs.
Step Three: Profit.

If only step one wasn't so difficult... :P

Distriimuir

Step ones easy, the long term living situations are the issue lol. My wife pulls the best stuff, so she opens all my packs. But I also deal with her hate of the game lol.

AstroGeek327

I was going to say that you just need a woman's touch, but that isn't right because -I- never get pulls like this D:

Mattacheu

Girlfriend and I stop by Walmart, say hi to a friend, and decide to pick up to packs of fate. Pack one? Arcbond. Eh, tis okay. Pack two? Monastery mentor :D was so happy

Nfidel2k

So I decided to try this out for myself with a box of Fate Reforged.  Let my girlfriend pick a pack and told her "I really want a monastery mentor."  She opened the pack and pulled a monastrry mentor!  So we tried again - this time I asked for Ugin.  She opened the pack and pulled Ugin!  Third time I got smart and just before she opened the pack I asked for the power nine...

...then, in the rare slot, was a basic forest with the words "power nine" written on it..
