Infect in modern

What are all of your thoughts on infect in modern? I'm much poor but like magic, so I like cheap decks. {Noble Hierarch} is expensive, but the rest of the deck is cheap. Is it competitive enough, just a nuisance, or should I go burn for cheap deck?

Burn is easier to pilot and more consistent and a good choice.

On the other hand I love infect. It can be competitive but not as consistent and resilient to the current meta.

It's worth a look but it's a deck that is less forgiving and has to be played smartly. Not just balls to the wall like burn.

It gets alot of hate. I have some decks that might as well auto conceed vs infect. I'd honestly rather play against burn.
