If I put {splintertwin} on a legendary creature, will the token kill the original because they'd both be legendary? Let's say I put Splintertwin on {Isperia, Supreme Judge} to draw multiple cards when my opponent attacked me. Do they both die from each other?

The Legend rule says you have to sacrifice one of them.

704.5k: If a player controls two or more legendary permanents with the same name, that player chooses one of them, and the rest are put into their owners' graveyards. This is called the "legend rule."

Note: they are not sacrificed, they are merely put into the graveyard
