FNM and a missed Prerelease

So me and my friends all went to a standard FNM last night. I didn't do so well with my Sultai deck I could hold out for a bit with death touch and getting bigger creatures but do to simply not having as high quality of cards as my opponents, kinda failed, I ended with 3 points just not being able to compete with the rabble masters and infinite mana combos in standard, (like {villainous wealth} my entire deck by like T5) so aside from having one of the worst decks, i got mana screwed repeatedly! anyways. enough of my griping thats just the way magic goes! My 2 friends were tied with 9 points and the highest number was 13 I believe? If i remember correctly there were around 30 people there. Regardless. It was a ton of fun and we all had a great time. So after the FNM we went up and grabbed some burgers from mcD's and after asking parents got the OK to stay for the prerelease. Now this was our first prerelease. Ever. So there was a lot of anticipation. Once we had gotten our packs and assembled our clan decks from Fate Reforged and Khans (I went Sultai, my friends went Temur and Mardu.) we were all ready to play. Til my friend gets a call and is told to be home by 1:15 (it's 12:40 at the time.) so. We didn't get to stay for the prerelease. And partake in the special fate events. From what I've heard from other people that were there, due to completing the Fate Reforged mission of Saving Ugin (by having over half the players complete various tasks manifest, play 2 instants in a turn, etc.) that they got Alternate Art {Ugin, the Spirit Dragon} (unsure why this isnt linking properly going to tomb instead)  they were unclear if this only went to the winner or if it went to everyone who completed the missions. But regardless. We're all a little salty about missing out on that! Anyways it was a great night for all of us. And hopefully next time we can stay and enjoy the full event.

Oh! Also notable pulls are in my {Trade Binder}! (<- this doesn't go to my trade binder).

When you save ugin, everyone gets a Ugins fate pack. It's like 5 cards I think of alt art cards from fate and kahns.   Ugin is a card that you can get..  Not everyone gets one it's random just like another booster pack.

Haha, I had some problems with the prerelease too....one of my friends who had preregistered never showed up, and then my other friend came about two minutes after the last spot had been taken. I myself got the second to last place and the very last Abzan kit x) so I ended up having to play my very first organized event ever all alone. At least I got to play though....

Yeah that was worse than losing was the fact we didn't even get to play. My deck was looking really solid too

{Karametra's Acolyte} + {Singing Bell Strike} with a bunch of devotion on the board
He then used this to {Genesis Hydra} and {Villainous Wealth} for infinite in the same turn ({Dissolve}'d the hydra!!!) but still died XD

I noticed that  {Ugin's Construct} alt art is going for $15 on tcg.  And  {Briber's Purse} Alt are is going for $10.    Glad I pulled the purse!
