Modern Masters 2015 (Speculation and Spoilers)

Jace would be meta-warping and unconditionally good. Just look at all its play in legacy.
Easy to deal with?  In almost any deck with have there will be counters and first thing you'll do with him is dig 3 deep
Tc doesn't always cost 3, and you'll probably not be casting it for 1 on turn 4.

There is only one tier one deck that plays jace and a few fringe decks. He's not that format warping.

Jace isn't really played that much in legacy anymore, really just Miracles and fringe play in Stoneblade decks (although most successful ones are now running {Young Pyromancer} and {Treasure Cruise} instead).
If you are playing it with Counterspell back up, you are going to be waiting for turns 6-8 (because {Spell Pierce} isn't usually effective on turn 5, {Mana Leak} isn't great turn 6, so you will usually need {Remand} on turn 6 or {Cryptic Command} on turn 8.
If you dig three, it dies to bolt, and if you plus it dies to Bolt/Snap or even Snap, Bolt, untap attack. Not to mention there are decks like that play cards such as {Lingering Souls} which is incredible against JTMS.

Ultimately, as power creep keeps ticking up, Jace will become worse and worse and JTMS will eventually be unbanned, I am not going to argue any more though.

if you plus it dies to Bolt/Snap or even Snap, Bolt, untap attack.

Thats's a lot of cards/tempo to devote to killing one permanent.....

They are EDH staples that see modern and legacy play, I want them in a standard set, not modern masters. I am hoping for {Grove of the Burnwillows} though, because I can't see that getting reprinted in standard.

How does the B/R affect Modern Masters 2015? There were a lot of people speculating on {Birthing Pod} and {Linvala, Keeper of Silence} in the set, and depending on when the set was finalized, they could still be in there.
