{Blightning} - one of the best spells ever. IMO
{Dreadbore} - because why not?
{Hero's Downfall} - best removal in standard right now.
{Pyroclasm} - gotta deal with those early threats.

Hmm I'm not sure how good blightning is in EDH? I feel like the 3 damage will never matter so I'd rather run something like
{Mind Twist}.

It removes a lot of creatures, and {mind rot}s them at the same time.  It's really good.  I'm just not sure it's good enough.  I'd rather cast something to just win.

If you really want to run {Blightning}, look into {Skull Rend}, quite a bit better for EDH.

She is. She had heartworms, and then when she was cured it turns out she's an undisciplined pain in the ass. But it's whatever, it's a dog. She'll come along

Dogs have been a part of my life longer then Magic. I like to think I'm a good dog trainer, but I can never figure out the meta!

But honestly, I've survived a lot of changes over the last few years, and keep upping the ante on how many things I can juggle. I have gotten myself in a bit of a pickle with this particular dog, but she's worth the effort 😛

She just needs a lot of help, and I've already taken care of most of it. Anyone who knows me, they know I don't give up. So since sending her back to the pound is not an option, even if it costs me the rest of my life helping her, she will be better.

It's similar to the high you get winning FNM or winning something important to you. Teaching and training a dog to be obedient against all odds. Teaching it to be a good family pet and not giving up on it. It's replaced the endorphin rush I used to get doing counterproductive things, or being selfish. It's where my attention is at the moment. It will return to MtG in a few days. Rest assured.
