Except narset out blitzes all of them.

Maelstrom gets a lot of cool points too because its all elementy and stuff

Wanderer is actually a bigger "I win" than narset. If you cast narset there are still answers. Wanderer is a threat himself that carries two other threats with him that you still get even if he's countered. Especially with the printing of the new anti hexproof land wanderer is better.

I could see replacing Xenagos for azami, but there's no way Kaalia doesn't deserve to be on the list. If I had to cut that 10 down to 5, she'd still be on it, she's that strong.

Kaalias problem is she is extremely weak to an extremely wide range of hate. 2 counterspells, removal spells, etc mean game over

This argument is invalid, all commanders are vulnerable to some sort of removal (try naming one that isn't) and as for counterspells, there are very few commanders that can't be countered

I see both sides, but Narset IS hexproof. No condemn. No Path, no Swords. Boardwipe or nothing. But I don't believe Narset is the end all be all. This game is a huge Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock. No one idea trumps any other in edh. Luck is SUCH a huge factor. I've had people with .poo. Edh decks trump me, and others. Game to game is very different. So here's what I say

Actually spirit of the labyrinth + possibility storm will shut down maelstrom and narset.

Narest is good but not unbeatable. In magical Xmas land you can always have haste. Barest doesn't make thins uncounterable. Doesn't make things unbeatable. Relax no general is perfect. I hope you get hindered some day and durdle until you get killed.
