Does the flavor even really matter? I mean when i purchased Jace versus Vraska I wasn't all like.. "oh schnap guys I hope Jace kicks Vraska butt after I Crack open these new decks!!! I'm on the edge of my seat over here in anticipation!!!!"

Yeah, Elspeth was trying to get to the edge of the world to talk to Kruphix and figure out how to get to Nyx, but Kiora kind of tricked them somehow.

I think I'm going to have to buy a copy. Or two or three or four. I mean Elspeth and Kiora are pretty pricey and I wish playsets of both. Think it'll stay at MSRP? (Or whatever the abbreviation is.)

Both of those are primarily standard playable planeswalkers.  Elspeth is probably good in EDH and definitely fun in casual.  Kiora is fun in casual.

Neither are good in competitive eternal formats.

Long story short.....they will drop in price after rotation and now they will drop even more due to this reprint.

My main reason for wanting Elspeth is my Not Nasty Narset deck in which she'd be very helpful in keeping me alive. I'm also working on a casual control deck so she'd be nice there as well. As for Kiora I don't have immediate plans but she's a decent Planeswalker so I must have it.

Kiora is badass. I love playing with her, if you can protect her, her land/draw is just as nice as her fog.
