eBay plus PayPal cost about 8-10% of your sale so there is that... It definitely cuts in to your profits, so eBay might not actually be better than selling on here in a lot of cases.

eBay bidding system actually ends up going for decent value (seen figures past BIN in bid wars) if you have a decent collection, if its all bulk.

Yeah, it depends on what you have I'd say. But I've also seen people post a lot on eBay where they're like "TCG mid is $400, I'm starting bidding at $350" so in that case offering it on here for $350 would be reasonable since you're not getting tcgmid on eBay 99% of the time.

I don't know, in my experience, a lot of buyers on eBay don't know the concept of tcg mid being trade value, and cash being more valuable, like our community understands it, so they tend to be around mid and if not, a dollar or two cheaper is a deal to them.

Edit: Holy run-on sentence, batman!

Most low also hits mid pricing once you look at shipping

Lot of people in our community don't understand that either.  Haha

Lol maybe I should have left this in the discussion section.

At the end of the day, an offer is an offer. If he wants to buylist offer then he can be "that guy" and we can just sit here and laugh at it. But it's an offer.

Also, I'm not sure what franchise in the magic industry there is, but id like to know cause maybe I can get into one.

Franchise? Do you mean opening a store? Check out Deriums CCG on YouTube, they do a lot about owning a store and starting your own. To discuss this further though, we should start a different thread.

Taysby mentioned saving to open a franchise....my comment was rhetorical considering there are no franchises in the magic industry. Probably something that one should know about if they plan on opening up a shop.

Not true? Sportzone has 7 stores across the Massachusetts and New York area, and they all sell magic and hold tournaments and whatnot... isn't that considered a franchise? I may be incorrect.
Are they owned by the same person, partners, or corporation?

A franchise sells their business plan and company name typically for an upfront fee and percentage of the revenue.

You're selling the Elspeth and creeping tar pit I sent you? :(
I'm actually keeping a few decks because I still want to be able to play casual with my brothers and friends, but I need money for school and stuff. The elspeth and creeping tar pit are actually staying with me, well one of each at least :)

And no reason to hate on Taysby, I appriciate the fail safe offer, it's comforting.
