Looking for a show.

So I saw an episode of this like 8 years ago. And got interrupted, never got to see the rest of it. And have never been able to find it.

Basically, what I saw from the intro, is the main character's sister is kidnapped by ghosts or something and he goes on a quest to find her
And in the episode I saw they (main character and traveling companions) stopped at a hot spring to rest/bathe but they were attacked by a ghost demon thing. (Then my cousin changed the channel >~<)

Sorry for not anymore info. That's all I remember and I've been trying to find the show forever. (Saw it way before My family got Internet or anything like that.)

Anyone know the show?
