Weird pod deck

So I'm making a strange pod deck. What are some good 5 drops that cause hate in modern?

1x {Archangel of Thune}. And {Kiki-Jiki mirror breaker} is a staple in Kiki pod

{Acidic Slime} can be a handy option. Worst case scenario, you destroy their best land.

Yeah right now I'm running 1 slime 1 mull drifter
It isn't a combo deck

How high up in cmc does your pod go? If it tops off at 5 or 6, you probably only need 2 or 3 5 drops in the deck

You can probably get away with just the slime and {Mulldrifter} if you need to, then.

I don't know if you care about colors at all, being pod, but some other possibilities:
• {Clone Shell}
• {Halo Hunter} is a good sideboard 5 drop against decks that use {Restoration Angel}, {Archangel of Thune}, or other troubling angels, even Iona
• {Ixidron} has potential against certain other decks as well, including other pod decks. And is great for leading your pod into a deadly {Massacre Wurm}.
• {Morkrut Banshee} is pretty solid. Just a bigger {Skinrender}. (More or less)
• {Puppeteer Clique} is great as long your deck is putting their creatures in the grave
• {Reveillark} can get you some earlier chains started back up
• {Shadowborn Demon} has potential. Removal is always great, and with pod it's not unreasonable to believe you'll have 6 dead guys by then.
• {Shriekmaw} is less reliable removal, but no need to worry about that sacrifice!
• {Stingerfling Spider} is a solid option against decks with flying
• {Thragtusk} seems pretty solid...
• {Thundermaw Hellkite} because haste and nearly impossible to block on the turn he comes out can easily finish a game
• {Voidstone Gargoyle} can be a good sideboard card against combo decks
• {Zealous Conscripts} isn't a bad option even if you're not combo with Kiki.

I love casual/non-Melira or Kiki pod, just because of fun the deck has the potential of being. Unfortunately, my decks tend to lose to spikes and/or net decks that are built for optimal competitive play. I just can't bring myself to play seriously enough to go beyond FNM level - I like to sit back and have a good time, winning doesn't matter to me.

I know that's why we need you to make all of the decks, it would lead to most interesting game play ever. "I pod into {Stingflinger Spider} to kill your {Chromanticore}," needs to be said at the pro tour.
