Nowadays Asking Alexandria, Bullet for my Valentine, and Parkway Drive
Parkway Drive is actually pretty brutal, I dig 'em, some of there stuff gets soft on some songs though, but for the most part they keep it heavy.

Devildriver, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Satyricon, Trivium, Suicide Silence, The Black Dahlia Murder, Whitechapel, etc., etc.

Das good metals right there, what you mentioned, it is not real metal. Don't get me wrong, I've heard sone decent songs from a few of those bands, but I dislike the majority of their music.

And technically System is metal I guess, and I love them as well bro. And KoRn, that's Nu-Metal, Rap/Metal Hybrid. So yes, major contradiction there bro. But I can jam some KoRn for sure, I like most music, but Metal is the best =] (Not a personal opinion, a scientifically proven fact, Google it, I'm sure you'll find something)

>claims to listen to real metal
>listens to Suicide Silence and Whitechapel

Your post is void of all credibility.

Guys I don't like when ppl dis other bands I understand that yes it's titled as metal an I know most of these bands would be considered screamo or grind core or some other genre but in truth metal is like the father of these genres and they do go hand in hand and shouldn't be shot down in a metal related convo... Now country... That's the true enemy!!!!

Without country there wouldn't be any blues, without blues there wouldn't be rock and without rock there wouldn't be metal. So country is a necessary evil. Metal to me is judas priest, black sabbath all the way up to pantera.

Gospel music started country music so I think that's a little worse. "The King Of Rock" Elvis Presley has a gospel record.

So we're breaking it down to genre specific metal? Technically that is still metal, some is Black, Death, Grindcore, I prefer Thrash/Speed myself.

Of course the big 4, except Metallica's old stuff is so far from it's roots it most definitely does not count. Kill 'Em All is where it's at, back when Mustaine was still around. And some Havok, Testament, Warbringer, Thrash bra. Pantera as well, except that's technically Power Metal.
