So now there there's no more core sets, do you think they create a set based on Shandalar again?

All the core sets are loosely based there, just they have a vehicle for the story. Thune, Xanthrid, Kalonia and all the other regular names that pop up in core sets are place on Shandalar. If I remember correctly, it is like a nexus.

Shandalar is the the sliver home world too, isn't it?

I imagine it'll definitely happen. No clue when, but I'm sure it will. Probably in a couple years, when people start feeling homesick without the core sets...

IMO I really think they will squeeze in a core set every year if mtg stays growing.
