I'd seriously do that and only run token generating artifacts and such.

Run {Thassa, God of the Sea} as your sole creature.

That would take away the {proteus staff} combo.

Would it? Being able to fetch Thassa for the cost of a token at any point is pretty strong. Odds are if the general gets tucked, either Thassa is already out (because you've already used the staff once to get her) or you can just use the staff twice to get both after the tuck.

It might be worth it to add a powerful "shuffles into the deck when it hits the graveyard" card, too, so the staff always has a use. It's not casting, so Ulamog and Kozilek aren't as amazing as usual (though they're still huge/huge with Annihilator). {Blightsteel Colossus} and {Darksteel Colossus} are good options, but being indestructible tends to get them exiled, so they won't be able to be re-staffed. {Hostility} probably isn't good, I doubt you're running a lot of burn. {Guile} might be nice if you're running counterspells. {Purity} is a good option.

Ekann1

Help with cuts is needed. I got halfway through making the land base.

Dudecore

She exiles the cards, so Kozie and Ulamog aren't helpful. They just go into exile never to be seen again. I think if you just go straight balls to the walls good stuff, deck manipulation might not even have to be such a big thing.

The {Enlightened Tutor}/{Mystical Tutor} should stay entacted. Maybe {Scroll Rack}. But I think she's just a value machine. Protect her, suit her up and that's it.

Ekann1

I think there will be a problem once everyone realizes what's up and starts targeting me before they die. Ideas besides more wraths?

Probably. Basically you've gotta do what every Kaalia or Zur players does: Jam a protection suite. Heck, even throw in Land destruction like {Armageddon}, just make it so they can't do anything about it.

Ekann1

Hmm. Problem is, Kaalia usually dies first in my playgroup. :P

Then again, I'm usually the one doing the killing, soooo.... yeah.

Thanks for the help I'll update when I have more time.

What tokens?

Dudecore

Your options are pretty much A) go extremely crazy with Narset. Voltron and Glass cannon combo. B) Build a balanced deck that uses deck manipulation whenever possible to go off.

Ekann1

I like option A. :P Seems to be pretty much what I have now? I think that would involve cutting Thassa?

Munchlax

{Auramamcer's Guise} might be worthy of a spot if you're playing a lot of creature enchants

Already there :)

Dudecore

Thassa is out. I keep {Scroll Rack}, {Enlightened Tutor}, {Mystical Tutor}. {Omniscience}, {Enter the Infinite}, extra combat steps, extra turns, mana rocks and protection suite. Just truck out everything you can, as quickly as possible.
