Deck

60 cards, 0 sideboard

10 {Forest}
9 {Island}
4 {Hinterland Harbor}

23 lands

3 {Ghoultree}
3 {Mirror-Mad Phantasm}

3 {Boneyard Wurm}
4 {Llanowar Elves}
4 {Birds of Paradise}
4 {Armored Skaab}
3 {Kessig Cagebreakers}
4 {Splinterfright}

28 creatures

2 {Gnaw to the Bone}
3 {Mulch}
4 {Tracker's Instincts}

9 other spells

Sideboard

My attempt at splinterfright beat down. It works nicely thus far with main goal of dumping cards into gy. T-2 splinter at 2/2 is very likely to get the mill train started.

Comments please and sideboard suggestions. Thanks.

I was thinking about artful dodge in deck, ghoul tree t3-4 unblockable. It's cheap and has flashback.

Only drawback to ghoul tree is no trample, being unblockable for 1 blue is sweet.

The common theme with 3 mirror mad, 4 trackers instinct, 3 mulch, 4 armored skaab is they are relatively cheap.

Usual hand starts with bop or elf, t-2 track/mulch/skabb. T-3 splinter or ghoul depending on what's in gy. Swinging with big Boys t4-5. Will consider though, thanks.

Bump for guy talking about splinterfright deck
Thanks Will 
My version:
4 {woodland cemetery}
4 {hinterland harbor}
8 {forest}
8 {island}
24 land

4 {splinterfright}
4 {boneyard wurm}
4 {armored skaab}
4 {screeching skaab}
3 {laboratory maniac}
2 {geralf's mindcrusher}
21 creatures

4 {mulch}
4 {forbidden alchemy}
4 {spider spawning}
3 {dissipate}
15 spells

So I think a compare and contrast is in order 

Willthomjr

Ive tried forbidden alchemy but with this deck type it's hard to flash it back. That's why I have trackers instinct. All I care about it getting creatures in g/y

Your opinion is irrelevant.

Sagemaster

I'm sad I have to leave especially since I like the splinterfright idea...and when the Jace's Phantasm and that mill card (mills 7) and also {Thought Scour} maybe snappies if you can get them

I've not seen anyone else on this forum do it. It's called common curtisy.

I dont see a problem with bumping a thread especially if it's letting someone else view the authors deck and strategy and potentially allow the to create a great deck...

Karrthus

Ok sage, I'll concede to this one. You have a valid point.

Good point the instincts might be a better idea
