If I have {agent of the fates} and play {fall of the hammer} can my opponent sacrifice the creature I target or do they sacrifice before I choose my opponents target. I want them to lose two creatures each time but it seems too good

heroic says "When you cast a spell that targets this creature". On the Hammer, you choose all targets as you cast it. The whole heroic ability then resolves, allowing them to sac the target. Now the hammer resolves.

Stack agrees with chan

Spell goes on stack
Ability goes on stack

Stack unwinds
They sac a creature
You deathtouch another one
They can sac the creature you've targeted however, meaning they only lose one.

Incorrect.

You do not get to deathtouch another one.

Ignore the last two, what llama is saying is you get to deal damage with a creature with death touch, and is correct.

I'm not disputing the deathtouch, i'm disupting the "another one" since your opponent can sac the one you target.
