Final consensus for the karma cap

We've had time to adjust to the karma cap, so I'd like to know what you guys/gals think. Do you like it? Do you find yourself giving/taking more of less karma than before?

I personally like it. All these giant numbers seemed kinda intimidating in a way. It felt like such a small thing when I started out with 0 and I saw gorzo with his giant number(can't remember it exactly). I give about the same karma. I don't think I've negged anyone in a while, so less taking of karma on my part.

I was already pretty shy for giving +'s or -'s, but I do find myself giving far less +'s after the cap.  As taysby said, it doesn't bother me too much, but neither did gorzo's 700+ or whatever it was, it was kind of like a challenge, almost, how close can I get to him.  But as we say to all the newcomers, karma is just a number and means nothing.

I kind of like it. I haven't really looked at my real karma number since the cap.

I still check everyday lol but tbh Idc about karma or anything karma related

Lol, everyone deserves a say, it could affect anyone. Also, it affects you because the way you see others changes. Did you think the whole "Gorzo, Karma: Its over 9000!" thing was intimidating? Do you think the new syste!m is more beginner friendly?

I haven't really felt a difference.  Though, I never really paid attention to my Karma, anyways.  It feels more like if you're at the cap, it just means that you're well-liked, known or respected in the community or you've just been around for a while.  Under the cap just seems like "Oh, they haven't been around long enough, or if they have, people just don't like them"

I'm fine with the Karma number either way.
