New Duel Commander Ban List

So I buy derevi, work on it. They ban it in 1v1. Great. Then I buy another deck to be my 1v1 deck. Guess what it is? Oloro....

i just perfect my 1v1 oloro mono black suicide.. sadly.. its banned now i feel like suicide myself now, lol, moving on.. next bad ass esper commander please

Just remember that this is for the French (Duel) Banlist.  If you're playing 1v1 with the traditional list, you're totally fine playing them.  Both of the bans make sense if you read the explanations.  Oloro was banned, not for being overplayed, but because it provided too much of a cushion for control and combo decks to overcome more aggressive match-ups, not to mention modifying how the game needs to be played simply by being in the command zone.  Cataclysm is just insane, pure and simple.  When you cast it when you're behind, it levels the field with you at advantage.  You cast it when you're ahead, and you just win.
