What colour(s) do you play and why.

I used to be all about {G} and sadly I realized it's just not as good as {U} so now I play mostly all {U}.

In standard I'm {U}{W}{G} (Bant) bc Chord of Calling and Sphinx Rev are effing amazing!!

In Modern I play {U}{W}{B} (Esper) bc {Lingering Souls} + {Polymorph} = {Emrakul the Aeons Torn} on Turn 3 :P

I play all of them. I play oloro, mayael, and doran in edh (which cover all of the colors), I'm building cephalid breakfast in legacy (primarily w/u), and play either g/b dredge shtuff or mono-red in standard.

FIVE COLOR CUBE EQUALITY!

This topic comes up from time to time and I love it because I can give a shout out to the finest colors to grace the cold pie. {U}{G} and sometimes {G}{W}{U}. Bant colors just thrill me.

What don't I play? I currently have,

Le red burn deck staring {Koth of the Hammer} and {Chandra, the Firebrand}. It's a WIP.

Orzhov token extortion.

Mono black devotion.

Rakdos "Snatchin yo People Up"

A couple decks that need to much work to be useable. (R/G, mono blue...)

Then I have Commander decks,

{Polukranos, World Eater} "ramping monstrosities"

{Muzzio, Visionary Architect} feat {Darksteel Forge}

{Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenuis} "Not Quite Infinity Draw" WIP

{Aurelia, the Warleader} "Double Tap" (actually my most successful Commander deck, managed to commander damage two people by turn nine)

When it comes to decks in general I've always been a fan of R/U. One of my favourite decks was counterburn, it just wasn't very competitive. Hence why I'm working on Infinity Draw. ({Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind} Commander deck)

TreeSmoker

Wen i played commander i played {G}{R}
With the reveler as general

I standard i also play {G}{R}

I'm a heavy {U} player. I love playing control, and I play  {Sydri, Galvanic Genius} in EDH (the main format I play). But I have this new thing about being proficient in all colors and with all archetypes, so I'm currently building  {Ruric Thar, the Unbowed} for EDH, which is not at all my playstyle. At all.

DIMIR ALL THE WAY!

EDH that include {U}{B}:
{Oloro, Ageless Ascetic} Lifegain
{Phenax, God of Deception} Mill
{Grimgrin, Corpse-Born} Zombies
{Vela the Night-Clad} Ninja/Evasion
EDH that isn't Dimir colored:
{Odric, Master Tactician} Soldiers
{Olivia Voldaren} Vampires
{Krond the Dawn-Clad} Enchantments
{Xenagos, God of Revels} is being worked on.

I created Krond and Xenagos just because I realized I should branch out.

Ironically, in my playgroup, they think Olivia and Krond are the best.

I'm proud to call myself a fully prismatic mage.  I've played every color in most formats at some time or another, and all sorts of different deck types.  Aggro, Prison, Combo, Tempo, Midrange, Control, I've played them all, be it in Standard, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, EDH or Cube.  Although my EDH decks have shifted to more aggressive, proactive decks, I'm totally fine playing any kind of deck in any other format.  Building Storm in Cube?  Awesome.  How about Aggro?  Let's do it.  My deck for Vintage is MUD, a prison deck that I would never try to convert to EDH.  My research for various tournaments, decks and judgeship have given me at least passing knowledge of most combo decks that exist, so if you hand me one, I should be able to figure out how to pilot it.

I'll play anything.  Except reactive control in EDH.  I've grown bored of it.

Silent1236

It's been a long long time since I've played something without {U}. Creature magic is boring haha. I mostly play control, but have recently branches out to Rafiq voltron and Edric shenanigans in EDH.
