Remillo is right. Think about it: {Waste Not}, {Liliana of the Veil}, {Thoughtsieze}, {Mind Rot}, {Brain Maggot}....discard would have been a tier one deck and WoTC doesn't like that.

BUT, you can also tell the want the strategy to at least be viable, which is why they gave us original Lili (with a +1 Discard), instead of Dark Realms, which has been in the past few Core sets.

They aren't going to print Dark Realms anymore. After they handed off M14 they started an initiative to narrow in on planeswalkers so they could save design space for others. Liliana is a necromancer and they are going to save "swamps matters" for another character.
