I want to build American control featuring {hushwing gryff} {ensoul artifact} and (potentially) going infinite with {the chain veil} and {ral zarek}. its gonna be called "Shh! It's Hushwing Gryff".

That card is pretty frekin' insane! Easy $30 card. It's gonna do some serious work in Standard and maybe even Modern.

EDIT: Nvm on that $30, thought it was a Rare. How the hell is that card an uncommon?

Card is cool.  It also marks the first time the text "base power and toughness" has been used on a card.  I really hope they don't continue with that, because it reads awkwardly.

They've chose to make many awkward phrasing decisions that I've noticed this set. Chain Veil is a perfect example.

You could almost make a (mostly) creature-less artifact control with {Trading Post} and board wipes and value low-mana artifacts, maybe a couple keyrunes, and some control and maybe a fatty or three. This card seems extremely fun to build around.

Due to the fact that the deck will (most likely) be mud, you can even run a playset of that new locus-esque land {Radiant Fountain}, to just randomly gain life, some {Mutavault}s and stuff. This could be a pretty badass archetype. That would be my direction with the card personally.
