Piotr keeps saying, and he's I can provide proof, that this is private property and we have no right to be here other than the fact that he invited us on, in a way. But is this true? I mean, you can't just say something is private property. Where in the US law code does it prove that? Just wondering. Thanks.

Not only that the app is through the apple store so unless they sold rights to apple, whoever created this app is free to do as they please.

It is his but he has to pay apple for them to run his app. That's how all apps are created. If it's a major company most apps will be free because of the low grade software used to make it. Apps like piotrs and others most likely cost money to keep it running 24/7. He has the choice to do as he pleases. Now, can he get you arrested for "trespassing" on his "property"? No. Can he ban you permanently? Yes. There are ways to track the accounts on here and make it to where you can never log again.

To be honest, there isn't much precedent. I am sure if it went to court, he would win in most cases, but it is a weird line, especially since he isn't in America and many of us are, so we are talking about international intellectual property laws...a very contested area.

I think he also lives in the UK so us law wouldn't apply.

I already pointed that out....

The hosting server is my property in the same sense as my land is my property, and house on my land is my property. This is where followers of Marx get confused ;)

You are free to enter my property only if you agree to obey iMtG Law, which has been designed to be simple and easy to understand, with simple and easy to understand commentary.

You are speaking here the same way as if you were speaking on my land: you are free to say anything, but if I feel offended by what you have to say, I can force you to leave.

Seems logical to me 👍

Yep.

Piotr created this, let apple have the authority to post it on the app store, and Piotr has to pay for the website.
The only reason its still up is for us being a community.

You confuse iOS app and this site. These are two separate things.

The only reason it is up is because I have high resistance to internet hate :)

No no no. The app uses the site.

No no no. The app uses the site.

Also uses other sites. And electricity ;) The app does not depend on the site in any significant way, does it?
