Thoughts for new EDH!

I have an insanely competitive Derevi (douchebag) deck that nobody likes... ): so ive been asked to make a new deck and im thinking black red? Need help on deciding commander, which routes to go for theme, and suggestions for black/red card staples! Im thinking olivia voldaren vampire tribal...

Heyyy I've recently moved away from douchebag decks as well because it's hard to have fun when no one else is!

Anyways, I would try the new black/red legend from conspiracy, Grenzo. I've been wanting to try him myself, mainly because I like the colors that he's in as well as the fact that he promotes a bit more creativity than most generals. Instead of just throwing all of the best B/R edh cards in your deck, you might get to have fun with trying out some different things just a suggestion!

Thanks for the tip! Ive been told that i may want to use him by friends.. Maybe ill give him a shot? Any red/black cards you know of that are staples? Like necropotence and such? I hate red personally and dont know to many cards for black so my knowledge is limited :/

 {Reito Lantern} and  {Jar of Eyeballs} are actually going to be good here. A fun way to use him is with scry cards as well  {Crystal Ball} and {read the bones} are a must. I have been brewing him in my head for a while

If you want a really simple build I could try and get my {heartless Hidgetsugu} build up for you. All it is is cycling your stuff until you have the game winning combo bits
