I might be an idiot. I took his Auerilia with control magic, then swung with brago and Aurelia causing damage to be dealt flickering the control magic and Aurelia with the damage dealt causing my lands to untap...

I played bant commander with derevi
She only untaps one permanent. And to cast her from command zone cost one colorless more than the original casting cost

Whenever another another creature deals combat damage you untap another permanent. And yes I could only untap 3, but with having infinite attack phases i could get it all untapped.

How do you get infinite attack phases? Brago's triggered ability returns permanents under their owners' control.

i played against this shenanigan today.
{brago, king eternal} with {strionic resonator}, a {sol ring} or any artifact that taps for 2 and {reality acid}. wipe everyone else's board (including lands) once you connect.
