Hey guys I'm interested in losing weight this summer. I understand to do lots of Cardio to lose weight, but what kind of food should I eat?

cltrn81

5 times a day and small portions

DylanW18

What should consist of these small portions?

cltrn81

3 normal breakfast, lunch, dinner (just smaller and good sensible food........not McDonalds!!!)

Then 2 snack meals in between (like a handful almonds and a piece of provolone or maybe a yogurt and some carrot sticks)

The smaller portions and the snacks between will turn your metabolism into a furnace

NO POP! Soda, coke, or whatever it's called in your local.

Agreed on the no soda thing

Is alcohol okay? And what are some tasty and healthy alternatives to water?

Alcohol is bad, best alternative to h2o is flavored h2o of some kind. Mendota springs for the carbonation. (If yiu need a pop diet cherry flavored 7up is what I used)

Honestly just exercise and eat normal foods (5 small meals os ideal)

if you are going to start working out more, you also need to increase your calorie intake. I know it sounds weird, but if you start to work out and cut calories, your body could go into what is called "starvation mode" Basically your body is saying, "ooo im working more, but I don't have enough energy to do it. Time to take what I do have and convert into fat and store it for later."
You may not necessarily lose weight (you might) but you will definitely tone out

particle

green veggies and fiber to keep you full so you dont snack on bs like chips.

Cut out as much sugar from your diet as you can. You still need some, but a few months ago I cut out practically all my sugar intake without changing anything else and within a month I had lost 10kg. Or I think that translates to 23 lbs if that's your preferred unit of measurement.

Circle is a shape
Oh my god I'm dying

On topic though, make sure to stretch before your workout. And set a plan of times, because it's a lot better for you if you do it consistently.

When working out, find a partner. It's much easier to find motivation to workout if you are working out with someone. Also give your body a rest. My suggestion is to workout 5 days rest 2. Suggestion for workout is to focus on cario and core, but don't forget to work the muscle groups.

My best advice is pick an intense sport and play it 2 hours a week. Do this AND keep up a regular fitness routine and eat healthy (fruits veggies) and pow pow ;)

A good sport to play is outdoor Tennis (I say outdoor bc in the summer it gets hot and when you're running around for balls all day you sweat buckets!! Stay hydrated)
