Bring up the topic that I think my parents religion is a load of bull and I don't want to be a part of it?  I've tried easing into it, but they are completely locked on the fact that I'm a "perfect son". I'm lost here.  I don't want it to be me shouting it in their faces, because anger in discussions is bad, but as of right now, I can't think of any other way.  :P

Get a mediator. Someone who your parents respect.

Just tell them? I mean what's the worst that could happen? Be dishoned because you have different ideas than them? The hardest part is mustering up the courage to straight up say it.

Eventually one day, you will be able to communicate with them on a calm level as equals rather than child and parent.

I grew up with religious family and around 13/14 they lost all hope. I just chose not to Goto church etc, but still be thankful for what has created and given to me.

You'll have to voice your opinion one day, so do it, just choose the best timing.

I have the same problem. My parents are Christian, and I don't know how to tell them that I believe in the Bahá'í Faith. I got a letter from the church that I hung in my room in place of the Ten Commandments (that I got from confirmation classes), but they don't seem to have noticed. I even dropped out of confirmation classes and don't got to church, but they just don't see it.

Well, if you want to know
"I can't believe you!  What happened?  Are you looking at porn? *checks browser history that's clean but don't believe it and take away my ipad and laptop* I bet it's those cards *takes away cards and generally make my life miserable until I "start seeing straight"*

I could totally see my parents doing those things, hence not straight up saying it.
So they take your stuff. After awhile they'll then ask "so what do you think now that we took your stuff?!" That's when you reinforce your stance on what you believe and try to open their eyes to "maybe it's not the games/cards/peers."

The what?  I've never heard about it.  Is it some type of Islam religion?
You know how Christianity came from Judaism and Islam came from Christianity? Bahai, is like the next step. Basically, the religion focuses on social, economic and ethnic equality, and the unity of humanity, rather than mysticism.

Ouch... ;)
Hey, this is my tactic. I'm atheist.

I know parents like this and how they act and that's not how it would go down in the end... More like burning the cards after several months.

move out and tell them then.

Murder them in their sleep and dispose of the bodies mob boss style.

... That crossed the line.
Line? This is the internet. If there was a line it was killed off long ago.
