Use 2 of the 12 mana to activate shrine to nyx again for another 12 {G} and tap the enchanted land for 8 {G} for a grand total of 30 mana

Wow. Where did you come up with this deck? I've never seen it before and it's pretty awesome. How consistently do you go off like this?

Yep. There is an infinite combo with this deck involving {staff of domination}, {arbor elf or voyaging satyr} and a land that taps for 6 mana. It can net me as much life as I need. The deck itself is a modern version of a green devotion that I saw once. Less creature based but just as devastating. It consistently goes off turn 4, but that's without any interaction from the opponent.
