My 8 rack deck. It's kind of budget because I don't have any liliana of the veil or dark confidant, but I did shell out for ensnaring bridge. Playing a tournament my opponent got two ordeals of Heliod and had me down to 1 life. I dropped ensnaring bridge with 4 shrieking affliction and 3 racks on board and had him dead in 2 turns. The games very rarely go that way but my deck was running pretty bad and so was his, so we both saw a lot more cards than is normal. Ended up being a pretty gripping game.

As usual I will say my {Norin the Wary} deck.... Because Norin doesn't seem playable. But that just me.

Tbh after playing Gorzos (miss that guy) fun EDH deck I realized how awesome {Norin the Wary} is. Also your deck is sick and idk if people will expect an enters the battlefield deck

It's usually just Mono-Red Chaos with Norin, Purphoros and Confusion in the Ranks. It gets really obnoxious, and I tend to kill them on sight.

Back to modern, indeed.  I may be biased, but Enduring Ideal is hilarious to play.  You hedge all your bets on resolving a 7-mana spell to lock your opponent out of the game completely.

Scepter Control is mah baby.

Mostly Affinity, Tezzeret Control or Merfolk

Affinity is definitely my most favorite del, though.

What's Scepter control?

Scepter Control is a deck that utilizes a bunch of lower comic instants in accordance with Isochron Scepter to win or stall long enough to win. Usually uses burn in Lightning Bolt and Helix to win.
