I'm building a 4e Hybrid Battlemind/Monk. I'm building him at level 1, and level 30, so I know where I want him to go, power and feat wise. I've finished level one (willing to post all stats and powers if you guys wanna see), but while building the level 30, I've come to a weird place. Now the character is based around the manipulation of Space and especially Time, and I'm currently selecting my Paragon tier feats. But none are great to me. Any suggestions?

He uses only cloth armor by the way, so I'm not interested in gaining new armor, just looking for ideas, help?

I'm thinking of getting the two feats that increase my attack and damage rolls, but that leaves 4 more that I have no clue what to do with

Video game or?  Just curious

This is tabletop :p and thanks for the move ;)

My character also Multiclasses into Psion to gain the Time Bender Paragon Path

I never got the chance to play table top D&D but always thought I would enjoy it.  Not sure my wife could handle another nerd hobby tho lol.

Have fun......sounds cool.  I always loved the monk class in the D&D video games.  His unarmed damage combined with an infinite haste accessory just turned him into a taz-manian devil of punches......especially late game like level 20 I think his damage die went to 1-20.

Yeah I've always loved monks, table or otherwise. My character uses a Bastard Sword and as a monk specializes in kicks. He doesn't use punches much, but he uses aerial combos. He doesn't actually fly or teleport (although powers say otherwise), he actually bends space and reality in order to move distances faster, along with slowing down time.

On paper he isn't the strongest, but in battle what he lacks in some damage (which can still be a lot), he makes up with in controlling the battlefield. Lots of powers where he moves enemies where he wants them (and at later levels literally removes them from the universe). He's so much fun to play with :)

So far I've just found Herioc tier feats that I want in paragon tier... So I've got

Quick Draw
Weapon expertise
Weapon focus
Improved initiative

Two more..

Did you say you multiclassed psion? Kudos to you for psionics!

If you tell me the psion specialization I might be able to help you there, but I only played monks in 3.5.

Kaworu, the Fifth Child

How much does it cost to get into D&D?

Splicer

It depends... Technically, you only need a pencil and paper, maybe some figurines. You might also want some map pieces, and if you're new, prewritten dungeons. The books are probably the most expensive, at $40 apiece.

DylanW18

You can just download books as PDFs :p and some playgroups don't use pieces, just imagination , so you could do it for free

Splicer

Yeah, I dm a 3.5 group. We only have the Player's handbook.

Also, the Battlemind, Monk, and Psion are all Psionic based classes in 4th, so I'm actual 100% Psionic lol but thanks

Splicer

Ah. I play a eladrin wizard in a 4e game, but I don't know 4e psionics.
