Would (archetype of endurance) help me out i boardwipe situations? And does hex proof work against enchantments? If so i believe i know how to get around the guy that overloaded cyclonic rift on me 3 times in a row this past Sunday.

Hexproof only works against targeted spells and effects. As most board wipes do not target, hexproof doesn't protect your critters. An overloaded spell doesn't target, even if there is only one creature on the field.

Avnger345

No it won't help against a overloaded  {Cyclonic Rift}.  Overload doesn't target. Hexproof protects from being a target from opponent.

Any green magic counter spells?

rarehuntertay

Not in standard, that I can recall. There are a few in modern and legacy

In control match ups you want to have them use their verdicts and rifts for the least amount of value as possible. It's like play a threat see of they solve it. Play another threat. See if they solve it and just beat it with it until they solve it. It's really grindy but it works. I would say have maybe 2-3 threats on board and just start hoarding your hand so you have gas to continue into the long game.

Planeswalkers/Gods are unaffected by supreme verdict

DirtyMustachio

Gods aren't so much unaffected as they are indestructible

Hexproof stops things like {azorious charm} and {detention sphere} ( {banishing light} )

Indestructible prevents destroy effects and lethal damage {supreme verdict} {hero's downfall} ( or deathtouch because it is considered as such "any damage that would be dealt to creature is lethal damage" )

Like {taijic of the legion} (lol no idea his real name) any of the gods and things like {boros charm} {rootborn defenses} {ready//willing}

As stated earlier gods aren't affected by the verdicts so they are fine to almost slam down. As far as creatures go I would have a polukranos and storm breath on field maybe and just start bashing in. I used to have a hard time with monsters because they have domri, Xenagos, and a lot of creatures with ways to get them out quickly. I play esper control and had to find the groove with how they play. So I built it and played it against myself and at FNM. Everyone's play style is different as well so you gotta try not to get too baited in and keep cool.

I added garruk to the equation to have 30 monsters and only 9 spells (planeswalkers) garruk helps fill my hand up and then nykthos helps me cast my hand. I have yet to add storm breath mainly because i use green devotion to cast the biggens with monstrous
Ever see a 16/16 brood master with 8 8/8 hydra tokens backing it? That's my issue
When they see that happening they freak out and start board wiping and then i keep playing brood master. I just need ways around the board wipe so i dont have to dump half my hand

With green you will have regeneration and also there is a green instant for indestructible  {Mortal's Resolve}
