So now that we have the Theros block complete: What do you think? What cards are the essentials from these.

What cards from Theros and BNG will soon be improved with new cards from JOU?

Will {firedrinker satyr} finally become the new thing and increase value by over 9000?

Which cards are disappointments? Why is there always an awful flying creature for izzet?

{courser of kruphix} has a lot of longevity
{domri rade} will stay a thing for a while

I agree courser will see some play probably in lieu of {oracle of mul daya}. Im still familiarizing myself with std as a whole, so I'll refrain from adding any others at the moment. I think it obvious that Gray Merchant and Athreos will see a lot of love in EDH, as will Erebos.

Things like Brimaz and Storm breath will go great in conjunction with things like Athreos and Iroas.

I was actually thinking about a modern soldier deck with brimaz, precinct captain and {Preeminent Captain}
