I like the {eidolon of countless battles} as a sideboard card once you figure out how they are playing atheros. If they keep sending it to your hand {night howler} is ineffective and vice versa

I have thought bout that...I originally had 4 howlers in but took it down to 2 for that reason

Another point about {eidolon of countless battles} vs {nighthowler} in this deck is with nighthowler either choice due to {athreos'} ability bennifits me but with the eidolon only sending sending it back to hand bennifits me extra

How does {nighthowler} help more? The way I see with eidolon on the field, they won't wanna keep the eidolon strong so everything will get sent to the graveyard them losing 3 life in the process

Exactly...it's an easy decision for your opponent...but with the howler it's a hard decision...do I take three and increase howlers or enchanted creatures power or send it back to hand and give cartel more sac creatures or bestow creatures

I guess it's a personal preference thing lol...one more point for the howler is he still bennifits after {deicide}

{deicide} is from the new set...essentially you exile target enchantment...if it was a god search hand graveyard and library and exile them all (kinda obvious but that's not the official wording lol)
