I think a "casual" tournament is where the first mistake is. Problems arise from an individual's interpretation of "Casual" and e fact that if it is indeed a tournament, then people will play what they believe will win, not earn them friends.

This will be my only comment on the "woe is me" comment regarding "degenerate" "combo-slivers" from someone who actually plays winter or static orb.
You built your deck one way, I built mine another. If you feel mine is "unfair" then Play something that can beat it or prepare to lose...it's a tournament.

That being said, I will not be playing any of my undefeated decks. But there are "combos" in it, so deal with it.

I say that anything goes, following the RC ban list, partial Paris, sure with the optional 10 card "wishboard" rule.

Hey now. No need to get personal. I was giving examples of what was allowed by the prior organizer. And I'm not sure why you want there to be a ban list if the answer to decks that are too strong is to just play a stronger deck yourself.

If it is really "competitive" then I guess I would need to find a list online to play with...my friends and I try to make our decks very strong, but at a certain point we pull cards out that are too strong so that the games are fun for us.

As for winter orb, I can pull that and {hall of gemstones} out of my deck if those are too competitive for this game (I don't run static orb in my online deck and am about to pull it from my real life deck, for unfun over power reasons, but it could come in if needed I guess).
