Well if you just want to make it cheaper, swap out cryptics for dissipate/dissolves until you get the money. And i guess you could swap in domestication as a low cost alternative to threads.

I personally believe the deck only works BECAUSE of what's in it and swapping things in/out may make it much worse. Just my opinion though :-P

Tian was saying how affinity is the decks worst matchup, spellskite somewhere could improve the matchup. (Kills modular effects) other than that, I agree with ^*guys name above me* about how decreasing cost severely changes how good the deck is..unfortunately..

Honestly, if you just wait a few months, you could probably save $100 or more. Its modern season and prices are at a high, but after the season, many of the prices will come down.

i believe that modern ptq season doesn't start till June so waiting longer will make things worse. I read some finances trickles that are expecting {cryptic command} to keep going up along with {snapcaster mage}.

Modern prices are dumb

That's because Modern is a relatively new format, and it's growing. With the influx of players into modern, supply is going down, demand is up, so prices will be high. Still not as high as legacy or vintage though.
